Belong

Be part of a family of God's people, enjoying life together

Jesus loves the people of Rock Ferry. He gave up his life to save us from our death. His Holy Spirit brings healing, hope and purpose. Bible teaching encourages and equips us for lives focused on worshipping our Heavenly Father.
Everyone

Whatever your age or life experience, you're welcome

We have groups for children, young people and adults and with two Sunday communities plus weekday groups, you're sure to find friends that can inspire you to know and enjoy God.
Experience

A warm welcome, bible teaching, prayer and worship

At both our locations, you'll meet bible believing Christians who have received spiritual gifts to help them to serve and lead. Come and join a team and help us bless our community.
Come on in!

Coming to a new church doesn't need to be scary

Let our welcome team know that you're new, and we'll take care of you - answering any questions you have and introducing you to  people.

John Naudé

I started as vicar here in 2023, but have been ordained in the Church of England for almost 30 years. I've lived in many places, even working as a missionary in Malawi. I'm from the North West, and it's great to be back. I'm married to Janine and we have 3 adult children. I want everyone in Rock Ferry Parish to discover that they can know God personally through Jesus Christ.
Rev John Naude

Sam Rowan

Sam has recently joined St Peter’s & St Peter’s at The Barn as our newly ordained curate (trainee Vicar). He comes from New Brighton and has helped create a community café in Wallasey Village. He is a brilliant gift to the church with a real passion to tell people about the person of Jesus. Sam is a caring, people person with a great sense of ‘scouse’ humour.

Dave

Dave is our Youth Minister and also leads The Barn. He has been a valued member of the church for 30 years with lots of experience and passion for the bible.

Lucy

Lucy is our Children's & Family Worker heading up Mums & Tots (Little Stars) and all our teaching and activities for children. Lucy grew up in St Peter's and is a gift to this community.

Safeguarding

We highly value our children, young people and vulnerable adults at St Peter's and we have a duty of care to protect and maintain their safety. We are governed by the safeguarding policies of the Church of England and the diocese of Chester. All staff and volunteers working with children, young people and vulnerable adults have pass DBS criminal record checks and attend regular safeguarding training events. Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Lynne Southerin who attends the church regularly and can be contacted about any child protection issues.

Home Groups

Townwide
Come together with others to learn from the Bible, pray and support one another. We think that meeting together regularly is a vital part of following Jesus so we run groups on various days, during the daytime and evenings. It is often a chance to dig deeper into the teaching and scripture from the latest Sunday service.

The Barn
During the summer period this year (we apparently had one)! We held a wonderful Holiday Club based on the TV program 'Race across the World'. This was used to tell of how the  Apostle Paul travelled around Europe telling people the Good News of Jesus.
Loads of fun and learning was had by all.
